This auction is for service of professionally stretching your canvas on 30" x 50" x 1.5" inch stretcher bars and shipping the painting.. The stretcher bars are 1.5 inches deep which means it will stand out from the wall 1.5 inches. Constructed of spliced dried white pine, these stretcher bars offer excellent quality.

Most of my Tonal Series unstretched canvases are 36"x56", therefore there is enough canvas to stretch it around 30" x 50" x 1.5" stretcher bars.

 
What does un-stretched canvas mean?

An un-stretched canvas means that the painting is not attached to a wooden frame, also known as stretcher bars. The canvas should be stretched and secured to a wooden frame / stretcher bars. These stretcher bars come in all different sizes and thickness.

The most common thickness for stretcher bars is three forths (3/4) of an inch and this thickness is ideal for having mounted in to a frame.

However if you don't wish to have the painting framed then having the painting stretched on 1.5 inch stretcher bars is your best option.

This is often referred to as gallery wrapped which means the face of the painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher bars. The sides can be left as is, painted black, or painted a custom color to match a color used within the painting.

Stretching Service

This auction is for my stretching service and shipping the purchased painting.

The staples will be placed on the back of the stretcher bars and it will not be seen from the side of the paitning.

This service will include cross bars and the wiring of your canvas, if needed.

Your painting will arrive ready to hang.

The painting is signed on the front of the canvas.
Shipping

Stretching, Packaging, & Shipping is combined with this auction.

Your painting is wrapped in bubble wrap and inserted in a heavy duty shipping corrugated cardboard box.

You will be emailed a tracking number to view the movement of your painting. Please allow 3-7 days after delivery date for your painting to arrive. 

I will ship your painting out between 1-2 weeks days after the auction has ended and payment has been received. Typically with a day or two but could take up to 2 weeks.

If your painting has not arrived in the desired amount of time please contact me so we can work on locating where the item is.
What if I would like to stretch the canvas myself? Please email me and I will send you a step by step instructions on how this process works. I have created a picturial job aid that will walk you through stretching the canvas yourself.
